Plus, after move out, even though I cleaned the apartment to best as I can, they still went ahead and charged move out fees just to make money. It started off a mess moving in here when our front door looked like police had busted into it previously. The door was so bad we could see light from outside the hallway because it wasn’t close to the frame at ALL. They decided a good idea was to get a huge brick like thing and instead of REPLACING it to bang that brick into the door for about 30 minutes to make it a little better . And yes our door still looks like it’s partially open when closed. Following them we’ve had issues MULTIPLE times with our AC giving out..
If you work late as I do and get home after 9 o'clock you mind as well sleep in your car! You will be looking forever for an open spot and then you will have the most aggravating walk back to your apartment knowing you have to walk all the way back the next day. I will not be renewing my lease and I will make it my sole purpose to make sure everyone knows how horrible this place is. I will post this review on every apartment site I can to spread the word that BRIARWOOD PLACE APARTMENTS IS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN LAUREL. Unlike other apartments, Briarwood has a huge master bedroom, washer and dryer, beautiful backsplash in the kitchen and to top it off the staff at Briarwood is AMAZING. Great team, friendly, courteous, professional, and they over and beyond to assist in any way possible. Just recently added a fitness center on the property for convenience. Baltimore Washington Parkway just minutes away. I gave it one stair because I had to give one in order to write a review. I have an issue with water pouring from the upstairs appointment in to my bathroom.
I have things that I have pointed out in my move in inspection that as of two week still have not been addressed. Within that two week period I've had my heat go out twice. When Morgan Properties began increasing their presence in PG County, I witnessed their shady practices back then and it is unfortunate they are still doing them now.
